I don’t mind an accent, but I’m not one of those girls who swoon at the very sound of an Irish brogue or melt from every Spanish whisper. For me, any accent loses its cache when I can’t understand the speaker and he can’t understand me. I accept all the blame and responsibility for this annoyance.
